Gecko Cottage

Gecko Cottage is a large, charming thatched house full of beams, quarry tiled floors and sash windows. It is set in a garden of more than one acre with marvellous views of the surrounding mountains. The house is only next door to Goose Green Lodge (so it is only a short stroll if you would like to come to us for breakfast!) and is ideally suited for families with young children and a perfect base for a family holiday in the area.

The house comprises:

Downstairs:
*a family lounge (satellite tv/DVD)
*dining room (inc. a 10 seater yellowwood table)
*a fully equipped kitchen (inc. dishwasher, washing machine)
*wc

Upstairs:
*a double bedroom
*bathroom (shower, bath, wc etc)
*second huge bedroom with four single beds and lots of play area

The large indigenous garden is wonderfully peaceful and contains a fenced 10 metre pool and huge play areas. There is plenty of garden furniture, including a Weber braai, for dining or just relaxing in the garden. It also contains a chalet with double bed and shower/wc which can be used is required.

Rates:

September – April ZAR 900 / day
May-August ZAR 600 / day
(rates based on six occupants and can be reduced a little for smaller groups)
